How to reach us
Email support@monomoapp.com for anything about the app: a bug, a question about your account, a listing to add or fix, an appeal, or an idea. We're a small team and usually reply within a few days.
- Privacy requests (a copy of your data, deleting something, a question about how we handle it): privacy@monomoapp.com.
- From inside the app: Settings > Contact the dev team sends us a note without opening your mail app.
- If you write about your account, send it from the email address you signed up with so we can find it.
If you are in crisis
If you are thinking about suicide or self-harm, or you are in crisis: in the United States, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), any time. LGBTQ+ young people can reach the Trevor Project at 1-866-488-7386. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. Outside the US, contact your local emergency number or a local crisis line.
MoNomo administrators do not monitor content in real time and cannot respond to emergencies, so please don't wait on an email to us.
Common questions
I can't sign in or forgot my password
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot your password? and enter your email. If it has an account, we send a link to set a new password. Check your spam folder if it doesn't show up in a few minutes. Still stuck? Email support@monomoapp.com from the address on your account.
How do I delete my account?
Settings > Account > Delete account, then type your password to confirm. It takes effect right away. The delete your account page explains what is removed, what is kept and for how long, and what to do if you can't sign in.
How do I report a person or a post?
Use Report on the thing itself: a profile, message, comment, wall post, photo, event, or group. A MoNomo administrator reviews every report. The person you report is not told who reported them. You can also Block someone at any time; it's silent, and they aren't notified. More in When you report.
Does MoNomo work without a connection?
Partly, on the phone app. With Offline access on (Settings > Account; it's on by default), the app keeps you signed in and keeps an encrypted copy of what you've recently viewed, so you can still read your messages, boards, and events with no signal. Comments, wall posts, and messages you write offline wait on your phone, marked "Waiting to send," and go out on their own when you're back online. Photos don't load offline. Turning Offline access off erases the saved copy and anything still waiting to send.
