MoNomo

MoNomo guide

Staying safe

You left a place that controlled who you could trust. Here, you decide. These are the guardrails.

Who is here

  • MoNomo is 18+ only. Singles events are 18+, and Drinks events are 21+ with ID checked at the venue.
  • Profiles show what you choose. We never show your exact location.
  • Still PIMO, or not ready for your ward to find you? Keep your profile to people you have already added.

Meeting someone in person

  • First meetups happen in public. Group events are the easiest start.
  • Tell a friend where you are going and who you are meeting.
  • Get yourself there and home. Keep your drink in sight.
  • You can leave at any time, for any reason, without explaining.
  • Don't share your address, workplace, or ward until you actually trust someone.

Block and report

Every profile and chat has Block and Report. Blocking is instant and silent: they disappear from your Network and Messages, and they are not told. Reports go to a human moderator. Harassment, pressure to rejoin, outing someone, threats, or anyone under 18: report it.

The rules everyone agrees to

  • No harassing anyone, believers included.
  • No outing people. Someone's faith status, sexuality, gender identity, and history are theirs to share.
  • Use people's names and pronouns. Deliberate misgendering or deadnaming is harassment.
  • No recruiting: not for a church, not for an MLM, not for your new thing.
  • No means no, in messages and in person.

If something is wrong right now

Emergency: 911

Crisis line: 988

988 is the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (US), 24/7, by call or text.

Trust the feeling that something is off. You spent years being told to ignore it. Not here.
